The reference is actually to Keith Bennett whose body has still not been found (he was a victim of Ian Brady & Myra Hindley).

Area 17 said...: It makes me incredibly sad that this is that poor lad that Brady and Hindley didn't have the human courtesy of relieving his mum of the pain of never finding her son's body in order to give him a decent burial and some closure for herself.

It still works Gerald, I only wish it wasn't so powerful and sad, but kudos for posting this, haiku aren't fluffy after all, just true to whatever is out there.; June 10, 2008 at 11:46 AM
